Jenna is a full-time missionary with YWAM University of the Nations. She is currently serving at YWAM Chico (California). In the Fall 2023 she was a teacher in Foundation School (DTS for kids!). She is also currently doing online training through YWAM Lakeside Montana to get certified in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

Jenna was born and raised in Holland, Michigan and has a BA in religion with a minor in Spanish from Hope College. She has known Jesus as her Lord and Savior since she was a young child, but in 2016 she began to surrender more areas of her life to Christ; she was soon volunteering at her church (La Casa de Mi Padre/My Father’s House) in the sound booth, food pantry and kid’s ministry. In 2019, she sensed that God was leading her to attend a missionary training program called Crossroads Discipleship Training School with YWAM Kona, and this brought further transformation in her life; after much prayer, she joined YWAM full time in 2020.
During her time with YWAM Kona she served in a few different areas: Crossroads Discipleship Training School, Foundations for Counseling Ministry secondary school, the Natural Farm, prayer ministry and data entry for the campus health team. She helped to facilitate classes, discipled people through one-on-ones, small groups & book discussions, and participated in outreach missionary work in the nations (Cambodia, USA, and Norway). A few specific ways she has served in the nations include: teaching/preaching, food & hygiene ministry, kids/youth ministry, worship & intercession and giving out Bibles.
Her heart is for people to know the love of Jesus Christ and their identity in Him.
