Twelve Women of the Bible – Life Changing Stories for Women of Today

Contact: Linda Woldring
Room 166 in the adult wing
Their stories are not fairy tales, their road was not easy, and their examples are not perfect. They lived in times and places quite different than ours. Yet they hold up a mirror to our souls that can help us better understand our own story. And in doing so, we find freedom to come to God as we are, with total transparency – honest and real. Their stories will help us:
- Apply biblical lessons to our own modern-day struggles.
- Persevere through failures and accept successes.
- Draw near to God in a world filled with trials.
- Find lasting contentment in every situation.
- Overcome rejection and insecurity.
For WOW (Room 166), the full group, often 12 to 18 women, meets together in one room to view the DVD-based video and for discussions of both the DVD content on the week the DVD is shown and discussions of study material on the alternating week. Following a shared leadership model, each week a different woman facilitates the discussion. (You do NOT need to facilitate a discussion session to be part of this group. Most women who attend do not facilitate.) For more information, contact Lori Baker or 796-3361. (Study Guide: $12)
