One of the rights and privileges we have as followers of Christ is that our Lord speaks to us one-on-one. He meets us where we are, despite who we are. He desires for us to hear his voice, understand, and obey. In the video-based study, He Speaks to Me: Preparing to Hear from God, author Priscilla Shirer draws life lessons from the account of God speaking to the boy Samuel in the beloved Bible story found in 1 Samuel 3. She relates six characteristics found in Samuel that are applicable to women today as they tune their hearts to hear God’s voice. Join us as together we tune our hearts to better hear and follow Christ.
For WOW (Room 167), the full large group meets together in one room to view the DVD-based video before breaking into smaller table groups for discussion. Each table group is assigned to their own room, typically 7 to 10 per group, and is led by a facilitator specific to that group. Discussions alternate between the DVD content on the week the DVD is shown and discussions of homework study material on the alternating week. (Study Guide: $15.)
