In the adult wing – room to be determined
Our kids are drowning in a digital world, but the church was built to be an anchor. Join us for a vital 5-week study of Jonathan Haidt’s groundbreaking book, “The Anxious Generation.” Together, we will look past the screens, unpack the youth mental health crisis, and discover how our church family can provide a healthy, real-world foundation for a fragmented generation.
What We Will Confront and Conquer
- The Great Rewiring: Understand how phone-based childhoods replaced real-world play.
- The Attention Fragment: Learn how constant digital noise crowds out prayer and peace.
- The Cultural Counter-Attack: Implement Haidt’s “Four New Norms” for family tech boundaries.
- The Analog Sanctuary: Turn our church into a device-free space of deep, face-to-face belonging.
Why It’s Important
- No Parent Alone: Build unified family pacts so you aren’t the only household saying “not yet.”
- Biblical Reality: Trade digital isolation for God’s design of physical presence and community.
- Actionable Blueprint: Walk away with concrete steps to protect your children’s minds and souls.
The culture rewired childhood. It’s time for the church to reclaim it.
