Meeting March 11 & 18 (2 Sessions)
Room 165 in the adult wing
As parents and grandparents, we often want to talk more with our kids about digital media, but we aren’t always sure how. Drawing from the best research on media and youth, as well as conversations with parents like you, this workshop series offers new ideas for the most pressing tech-related dilemmas parents are facing. It will cover questions like: Why do my kids constantly check their phones? How can I help my family actually be together when we’re in the same room? How can I supervise what my kids are saying and sharing? And how (and when) can I gracefully take off the media training wheels? This two-session class will help you think and talk differently about digital media with your kids.
