HAPPY TOWN CHRISTIAN TRAVELERS DAY TRIP TO INDIANA: Join us Thursday, September 24, from 8:00 AM–8:00 PM to see America: 250 Years of Freedom, a panorama of story and song at the Blue Gate Music Hall in Shipshewana. Other stops include The Master’s Gallery in Middlebury, featuring faith-inspired paintings, and lunch on your own at Tiffany’s in Topeka. The cost is $85 per person, payable by cash or check. “LETTERS TO THE LORD” DANCE SHOWCASE: Everyone is invited to a dance showcase in the CMC Chapel on Wednesday, July 15, from 6:00–7:00 PM. Students participating in CMC Dance Camp will present Letters to the Lord, a worship experience centered on prayer. Admission is free, and a love offering will be received.

ThuMBS—THURSDAY MEN’S BIBLE STUDY: ThuMBS is a weekly gathering for men who want to explore Scripture together. Members, nonmembers, guests, and men of all ages are welcome. The group meets Thursdays from 7:07–8:27 AM in the Green Room. This summer, the group is studying the Minor Prophets—Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, and Micah—using a LifeChange study guide. The group also expects to participate in quarterly service projects. New participants are always welcome to join or visit. JOIN THE SUMMER DROP-IN CHOIR: The summer choir will sing on Sundays, July 19 and August 16. Rehearsals will take place at 8:45 AM on the morning of each service. Everyone is welcome! Invite friends, family members, and others from the community who may not normally participate in choir.
NEW MIDDLE SCHOOL SUNDAY SCHOOL: Beginning today, Sunday, July 12, middle school students are invited to Room 171 in the youth wing immediately following the worship service. Tim Fennell, Youth and Young Adults Director, will lead a weekly Bible study on the Gospel of Mark.
NEWTYPE CLUB: Students in grades 5–12 are invited to CMC’s Youth Center on Wednesdays from 2:30–4:30 PM for Bible study and the Gundam trading card game. Please call or text Tim at 386-295-6032 at least two days before attending.
WOMEN’S NIGHT OUT—SIGHTINGS: Join us Wednesday, July 22, at 7:00 PM in the Gathering Place. Speaker Lynn Austin will lead an evening of sharing stories about God’s presence in our everyday lives. There is no cost to attend. Questions? Contact Jill Breuker.
FOOD PANTRY NEEDS:
- People Helping People in Pullman: During July, please consider donating cereal, pancake mix, and syrup. Donations may be left at the Collection Center in the mixing area near Entrance B.
- Doors of Hope at CMC: Our Doors of Hope food pantry urgently needs cereal, pancake mix, syrup, 20-ounce bottles of ketchup, canned fruit, one-pound jars of applesauce, Hamburger Helper, and boxed macaroni and cheese. Donations may be placed in the grocery cart near the Collection Center by Entrance B.

GLOBAL LEADERSHIP SUMMIT SIMULCAST AT CMC—AUGUST 6–7: What if leadership could look different? What if it were not simply about titles or achievements, but about service, vision, and the courage to act? The Global Leadership Summit will be simulcast in the CMC Chapel on August 6–7. WOMEN PRAYING ON MONDAYS: Women Praying on Mondays meets year-round in the Prayer Room from 11:15 AM–12:15 PM. Women who would like to grow in their relationship with God through prayer are invited to attend. The group prays using Seeking God’s Face: Praying with the Bible Through the Year and by listening and responding to the Spirit’s prompting. New participants are always welcome. THE TIE BLANKET WORKSHOP WAS A HUGE SUCCESS: Congratulations to the volunteers who worked together to make 75 tie blankets! This incredible accomplishment will bring comfort to individuals and families in Pullman. The completed blankets are scheduled to be delivered to People Helping People in August.
MEN’S THURSDAY MORNING PRAYER GROUP: The group meets year-round in the Prayer Room on Thursdays from 10:00–11:00 AM. Come learn and grow in prayer with others. Even if you have never prayed in a group, you are welcome and encouraged to participate. Each week includes time for praise, confession, thanksgiving, and intercession. LEAD PASTOR SEARCH TEAM UPDATE: Please continue to ask for God’s blessing and guidance throughout the search process. The Search Team continues to receive information from candidates and determine who will move forward to the next steps. Please pray for the team and for each candidate as they enter the interview phase and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
