SUNDAY CAFÉ

Sunday Café begins THIS SUNDAY in the Gathering Place.

HARVEST PARTY

Wednesday, October 28, we will be having our annual Harvest Party from 5–7:30pm.

We need YOU to help make this night a success. Mark the date on your calendar and stay tuned for more details on different ways you can serve.

FREE NON-CERTIFIED HEARTSAVER CLASS

When you, your neighbor, or a family member experience a sudden cardiac arrest, you can improve their chances of survival.

CMC is offering a 90-minute class where you will learn hands-only adult, child, and infant CPR; how to use an AED; and how to relieve choking.

Class Options:

FOOD PANTRIES

- The list of ongoing needs can be found at Entrance D and the Mission and Info Kiosks. Local grocery store gift cards are also welcome. Drop gift cards off at the Info Desk on Sundays or at the church office.

- People Helping People in Pullman: Pantry needs are canned soups and cereal. Items are being collected by Entrance B.

WHIMSY ART

We will be learning how to create a beautiful piece of Whimsy Art together. Not crafty? That’s okay! We want to see you there.

Join us on Sunday, October 25, from 3–5pm in the Gathering Place.

CRAFTED WITH PURPOSE — A NEW OUTREACH EVENT COMING TO CMC

Monthly, on the fourth Thursday, women from the community and CMC are invited for worship, a Biblical teaching, a guided spiritual practice, and creating a craft.

6:30–9pm | Gathering Place

The first event will be September 24, focusing on the theme REPENT. We will be creating a beautiful beaded prayer bracelet. All supplies are provided.

Mark and his wife, Deb, help prepare new leaders for ministry at the Phnom Penh Bible School.

There will be a time to meet and greet Mark following the service in the Mixing Area between Entrances C and D.

NEW GATHERING SPACE AFTER WORSHIP

Starting TODAY, September 20, and continuing for five weeks, we will have a new gathering space set up in the Mixing Area between Entrances B and C for those who typically gather following worship in the Gathering Place.

This is to accommodate the From Fragmented to Flourishing class that will be meeting in the Gathering Place during that time.

We hope you will enjoy this new temporary space!

A GriefShare group provides a warm and caring environment, offering support and encouragement as you journey through your grief.

Our GriefShare group meets weekly on Mondays through December 7.

KIDS HOPE MENTORS

Can you give one hour each week to make a difference at our neighborhood school?

Kids Hope mentors don’t need to be teachers or have special skills. You simply need a caring heart, a listening ear, and the willingness to be there.
